Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making actnowinjury.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
Our commitment
Act Now Injury Lawyers is committed to ensuring that actnowinjury.com is accessible to people with disabilities. We believe everyone deserves equal access to legal information and the ability to contact our firm — regardless of their abilities or the assistive technologies they use.
We are working to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for digital accessibility — as well as the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III and the California Unruh Civil Rights Act.
What is WCAG 2.1?
WCAG 2.1 is the global standard for web accessibility, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). It is organized around four core principles — often called the POUR model:
Level AA is the most widely referenced compliance level — it covers the requirements that most courts, regulators, and advocacy organizations look to when evaluating digital accessibility for private businesses.
Measures we've taken
To support accessibility on this website, Act Now Injury Lawyers has taken the following steps:
- Alternative text (alt text) added to images throughout the site so screen readers can describe visual content to users with visual impairments.
- Keyboard navigation — major site functions can be accessed using a keyboard alone, without a mouse.
- Skip navigation link available at the top of each page so screen reader users can bypass repetitive navigation and go directly to main content.
- Semantic HTML structure using proper heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3) so assistive technologies can understand page organization.
- Color contrast — text and interactive elements are designed to meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required by WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Form labels — all contact and intake forms include labeled fields so screen readers can identify each input.
- Responsive design — the site reflows for mobile and tablet screens and supports text resizing up to 200% without loss of functionality.
- Language attribute set on all pages (
lang="en") so assistive technologies use the correct pronunciation rules. - No auto-playing media — no audio or video plays automatically on any page.
- Link text — links are descriptive and make sense out of context (e.g., "Contact our personal injury attorneys" rather than "click here").
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content on this website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Below is a list of known issues and our remediation timeline. We update this list as issues are identified and resolved.

|---|---|---|
| Some older PDF documents may not be tagged for screen reader accessibility | Resource downloads | In progress |
| Some embedded video content does not include closed captions | Video testimonials | Planned Q3 2026 |
| Gravity Forms contact form may have color contrast issues in error states | Contact / intake forms | In progress |
| Some third-party widgets (chat, maps) may not be fully keyboard navigable | Site-wide | Vendor review in progress |
| Mobile menu focus management may not trap focus correctly on older iOS versions | Mobile navigation | Planned Q2 2026 |

Assistive technology compatibility
This website has been designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers: NVDA + Firefox (Windows), JAWS + Chrome (Windows), VoiceOver + Safari (macOS and iOS), TalkBack + Chrome (Android)
- Keyboard-only navigation: Supported in all modern browsers
- Browser zoom: Up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
